Blizzards latest announcement is a large step for the community of World of Warcraft, providing an important platform to raise awareness about player concerns. With this new initiative, Blizzard aims to create ongoing dialogue and clear communication between players and developers.
The “wow community invite link not working” is a blog post by Blizzard Entertainment, announcing the World of Warcraft Community Council. The blog post includes a link to a new website for players who want to be involved in the development of World of Warcraft.
Blizzard has announced the formation of a World of Warcraft community council in order to boost player communication and “collect more thorough input on all elements” of the MMORPG.
The WoW community council will be made up of “at least 100 players,” who will be allowed to post in a new discussion forum that would otherwise be open to the public, allowing those who haven’t been invited to keep track of what’s going on.
“In this new forum, we’ll invite users to contribute their experiences and thoughts on everything in the game,” the company noted on its website. “Some subjects may be launched by Blizzard developers and community managers.”
Updates and comments will be publicized on the forum, but the WoW community council will also encourage private discussions among members and serve as a conduit for people to communicate with developers.
The application for the World of Warcraft community council is now available, and the article linked above will lead you to the form that anyone interested must complete.
Blizzard has said that it is seeking for input from players that like a number of facets of the game, including high-end raiding, PvP, achievement hunting, transmog collection, and more. Applicants must identify their major areas of interest when it comes to the MMO.
Existing members will be withdrawn after one year in the program, creating room for new ones once applications reopen. Unannounced features will not be discussed or given access to the WoW council.
One of the most common grievances among players is that their input, particularly during recent beta testing, was ignored, resulting in the developer having to rely on post-launch updates to address faults and system flaws that were constantly raised.
It’s not simple to strike a balance between developer vision and player input, but as the WoW community council takes form, we should see less friction.
